The opening ceremony for Eurus Tomamae Wind Farm (total output capacity of 20MW), which resumed its commercial operation on March 1, 2022 after a reconstruction project, was held today at the facility site. Approximately 50 local officials, including the Mayor of Tomamae-cho, and construction participants, attended the ceremony to pray for the safe operation of the wind farm.

This wind farm was Eurus Energy Group’s first commercial wind power generation project in Japan, and at the time was the first large-scale wind power plant to be referred to as a “wind farm” in Japan. It operated for over 20 years from November 1999. By continuing to utilize of the abundant local wind resources after the reconstruction, Eurus Group intends to fulfill our corporate philosophy goals of "Helping to Preserve the Global Environment by Disseminating and Expanding Clean Energy Technologies” and also developing with the local community to supply environmentally friendly energy.
