- Projects
Eurus Energy Group recently began the removal of the existing wind power generation equipment from Eurus Iwaya Wind Farm(Start date of operation:2001/11, Total output:32.5MW)and Eurus Shitsukari Wind Farm (Start date of operation: 2003/10, Total output: 19.25 MW), which operated in Higashidori Village, Aomori Prefecture. The ground breaking ceremony for the demolition of the wind farms was held onsite on April 13th, with construction participants in attendance.
The wind farms both terminated operation in March 2023, each having reached their 20 year planned commercial operation lives. In order to continue effectively utilizing the abundant wind resources in the area and to contribute to the revitalization of the community, Eurus plans to reconstruct the wind farms after the demolition of the plants, fully upgrading the facilities,
Eurus will proceed to carry out the demolition project with safety as our top priority, while working to gain the understanding and cooperation of local residents and other related parties.
