Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Demolition of Eurus Nishime Wind Farm

Eurus Energy Group recently began the removal of the existing wind power generation equipment from Eurus Nishime Wind Farm（Start date of operation：2004/11、Total output：30MW）which operated in Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture. The ground breaking ceremony for the demolition of the wind farm was held on site on April 18th, with construction participants in attendance.

This wind farm terminated operation on March 2023, having reached its 20 year planned commercial operation life. In order to continue effectively utilizing the abundant wind resources in the area and to contribute to the revitalization of the community, Eurus plans to reconstruct the wind farms after the demolition of the plants, fully upgrading the facilities.

Eurus will proceed to carry out the demolition project with safety as our top priority, while working to gain the understanding and cooperation of local residents and other concerned parties.
