Opening Ceremonies Held for Eurus Embetsu Wind Farm, Eurus Teshio Wind Farm and Eurus Hamatonbetsu Wind FarmⅠ
- Projects
The opening ceremonies for Eurus Embetsu Wind Farm, Eurus Teshio Wind Farm and Eurus Hamatonbetsu Wind Farm I were held respectively on May 23, 24, and 25 at each power plant. Local government officials, community members, and construction partners attended the ceremony to pray for the safe operation of the wind farms. The wind farms were constructed by Eurus Energy group as replacements of existing projects in the towns of Embetsu, Hamatonbetsu, and Teshio, and have started operation from February to March 2023.
Since each of the existing wind farms had reached their 20 year planned operation lives, Eurus sequentially terminated operation between February and September 2021, and completely upgraded the facilities.
Eurus will continue to utilize abundant wind resources of these locations, in order to contribute to environmental conservation and the creation of a sustainable society, under our corporate philosophy of "playing a role in global environmental conservation through the diffusion and expansion of clean energy.
