Carbon Neutrality
Carbon Neutrality Challenge for the Future of the Earth
In addition to the creation of renewable energy, the Eurus Energy Group promotes initiatives geared toward the realization of carbon neutrality through the active usage of renewable energy.
Virtually 100% of Energy Usage from Renewable Energy in All Domestic Sites

The Eurus Energy Group promotes the reduction of CO2 emissions in all offices and facilities in Japan.
In fiscal 2023 (April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024), the power consumed in all 45 wind /solar power plant locations and all offices including the main office in Japan was virtually 100% renewable through the procurement of CO2-free electricity*1 combined with the purchase of FIT non-fossil certificates*2. This marks the fourth consecutive year of achieving this goal since fiscal 2020, when the initiative was launched.
- *1Procurement of virtually CO2 emission-free electricity from the Eurus Green Energy Corporation ("EGE"), Eurus Energy Group's retail electricity provider, and other retail electricity providers utilizing the environmental values derived from the Group's power plants
- *2Purchased certificates from EGE with attribute information of the Eurus Energy Group's power plants
Supporting Corporate Decarbonization

Global warming is a large threat, not only to the climate and ecosystems, but also to our society and economy. In order to help solve the problem, as a member of society, many companies including the Eurus Energy Group support initiatives geared toward decarbonization.
J. League Case Study
As a "J. League Climate Action Partner" defined by Japan Professional Football League ("J. League"), the Eurus Energy Group supports activities for a sustainable society promoted by J. League.
We support the realization of carbon neutrality in J. League by providing the environmental values derived from energy from the Eurus Tashirotai Wind Farm to the J. League through Green Electricity Certificates , enabling the energy consumed at official games to be virtually 100% renewable.
This initiative has been continuing since 2023, and in 2025, we will be offering the J. League Green Electricity Certificates equivalent to the energy consumed at 600 out of approximately 1,200*1 games to be held between January and December of 2025.
- *1Excludes matches in the stadiums that already procure renewable energy/actual renewable energy generation in the applicable time frame
