Eurus Tabito Wind Farm Starts Operation
Eurus Tabito Wind Farm (Tabito Town, Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, total output capacity of 18.83MW), which was under construction by Eurus Tabito Wind Farm LLC, a group company of Eurus Energy Holdings, started operation on November 15, 2023.
Eurus Tabito Wind Farm consists of five wind turbines installed along a ridge line at an elevation of approximately 700 to 800 meters. Each wind turbine has a single unit output of 4.2 MW, which is one of the highest capacity onshore models in Japan. This is Eurus Energy Group’s second wind farm in Fukushima Prefecture, and all electricity generated will be sold to the Tohoku Electric Power Network. The generated power is equivalent to the electricity consumed by approximately 14,000 average households, and is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 19,000 tons per year.
Based on our corporate philosophy of "playing a role in global environmental conservation through the diffusion and expansion of clean energy," Eurus Energy Group will continue to contribute to global environmental conservation and the creation of a sustainable society through the introduction and expansion of renewable energy by making efforts to promote and value the appeal of renewable energy.
