Eurus Energy Holds Opening Ceremony for Eurus Kamaishi Wind Farm
Eurus Energy Holdings Corporation ("Eurus Energy") held an opening ceremony for the Eurus Kamaishi Wind Farm on May 22, which were constructed by Eurus Energy Kamaishi LLC, a group company of Eurus Energy, and started operation on March 1, 2026. Local government officials, community members and construction partners attended the ceremony to pray for the safe operation of the wind farm.
The Eurus Kamaishi Wind Farm, which started commercial operation in December 2004 and has been in operation for nearly 20 years, terminated operation in March 2023, and complete reconstruction work has been carried out since then. In the replacement project, 43 wind turbines manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (single output capacity: 1.0 MW) were replaced with eleven wind turbines manufactured by Vestas Wind Systems A/S (single output capacity: 4.2 MW).
