Eurus Energy Holds Safety Ceremony for Replacement of Eurus Mameda Wind Farm

The safety ceremony was held for the replacement (rebulding) of the Eurus Mameda Wind Farm (capacity: 10.5 MW), which is operating by the Eurus Energy Group in Yokohama Town, Shimokita District, Aomori Prefecture on April 24, 2025. The ceremony was held in Yokohama Town, with the presence of local government officials and construction participants.

In the replacement project, the three wind turbines that had terminated commercial operation will be removed and be replaced with two Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy S.A. wind turbines, each with an output of 4.3 MW, one of the largest in Japan. Commercial operation is scheduled to start in February 2027, and the generated power will be equivalent to the electricity consumed by approximately 5,000 average households, and is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 10,000 tons per year.*
