Eurus Energy Holds Opening Ceremony for Eurus Tokoro-Notoro Wind Farm

Eurus Energy held an opening ceremony for the Eurus Tokoro-Notoro Wind Farm on July 23, which was constructed in Kitami City and Abashiri City, Hokkaido by Eurus Tokoro-Notoro Wind Farm LLC, a group company of Eurus Energy Holdings, and started operation on March 11, 2024. Local government officials, community members and construction partners attended the ceremony to celebrate the successful construction and wish for the continued safe operation of the wind farm.

Although Eurus Energy group operates 15 wind farms throughout northern, central and southern Hokkaido, this marks our first time to develop a wind farm in the eastern Hokkaido area.
The Eurus Tokoro-Notoro Wind Farm consists of 7 Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy S.A. wind turbines, each with an output of 4.3 MW, which is one of the highest capacity onshore models in Japan. All electricity generated will be sold to Hokkaido Electric Power Network Inc.

Based on our corporate philosophy of “Helping to preserve the global environment by disseminating and expanding clean energy technologies” and our corporate vision of “Develop with local communities and maintain the trust of society”, Eurus Energy group will continue to work on further expansion of wind power generation and contribute to global environmental conservation and the creation of a sustainable society.
