As demand for data centers rapidly increases with the spread of generative AI and IoT, the use of renewable energy for data centers is attracting attention. We commence the green data center project utilizing renewable energy derived from wind power generation. This will be the first data center in Japan to receive pure green power supplied directly from a wind power plant. Through this project, we aims to further promote the widespread adoption of renewable energy and strengthen digital infrastructure, thereby contributing to the national initiative to advance Watt–Bit Integration.”
