Construction of Solar Power Plants in Poland
Eurus Energy Europe B.V. (“Eurus”) has begun construction of two solar power plants in Poland, with a combined capacity of approximately 40 MWp.
The plants are located in southern Greater Poland Voivodeship, approximately 80 km from Poznań. Both plants are connected to the grid at Krotoszyn-Połnoc substation operated by Energa-Operator S.A. Electrum is responsible for construction, while Alplan is providing engineering services to Eurus.
These are Eurus’ first projects to be constructed in Poland, a market where continued growth in renewable energy is expected. Eurus plans to develop additional renewable energy projects, as well as battery energy storage systems, in Poland in the coming years.
