Eurus announces the successful grid connection and start of commissioning of the Baracska PV&BESS Hybrid project in Hungary
Eurus Energy Europe B.V. (“Eurus”) has successfully completed construction of the Baracska PV&BESS Hybrid project, a solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage hybrid project located in Baracska, Fejér, Hungary. The plant is now operational, with commissioning activities and performance tests currently underway.
This project marks the Eurus Energy Group’s first entry into the Hungarian market, making Hungary the seventh country in Europe where we operate renewable energy projects. By combining solar power generation with battery energy storage, the project is expected to contribute to the wider adoption of renewable energy and to support the efficient use of power infrastructure in the country.
Eurus remains committed to expanding its renewable energy business across Europe and to supporting the region’s energy transition and decarbonization goals through the continued development and operation of its projects.
