Eurus Energy Starts Operation of Eurus Sandaimyojin Wind Farm

Eurus Energy Holdings Corporation (“Eurus Energy”) announced today that Eurus Sandai Myojin Wind Farm LLC, a group company of Eurus Energy, has completed construction of the Eurus Sandaimyojin Wind Farm (capacity: 34MW) in Iwaki City, Fukushima, and its commencement of commercial operation on August 29, 2024.

The Eurus Sandaimyojin Wind Farm is Eurus Energy Group’s third wind farm in Fukushima Prefecture and consists of nine Vestas wind turbines installed along a ridge line of 600 to 800 meters mountains, including Mt. Sandaimyojin. Each wind turbine has a single unit output of 4.2 MW, which is one of the highest capacity onshore models in Japan. All electricity generated will be sold to Tohoku Electric Power Network Co., Inc. It is expected to generate electricity equivalent to the power consumption of approximately 16,000 average households and reduce CO2 emissions by 33,000 tons per year*1.
