The opening ceremony for Eurus Kamikatsu-Kamiyama Wind Farm, which Eurus Group has been constructing in Tokushima Prefecture, in the vicinity of Kamikatsu Town, Katsuura District to near Kamiyama Town, Myozai District, was held in Kamikatsu Town on August 10th. The ceremony was attended by approximately 90 local officials and construction participants, including Tokushima Prefecture Governor Kamon Iizumi, who prayed for the safe operation of the wind farm.

This wind farm consists of 15 Enercon wind turbines, each with an output of 2.3MW, installed along a ridgeline with an altitude of approximately 900 to 1,000m. With an installed capacity of 34.5 MW, it is the largest wind farm in Shikoku Region and is Eurus Energy Group’s second wind farm in Tokushima prefecture.

This wind farm has already been in commercial operation since July 10th this year, and is expected to supply electric power equivalent to the amount used by approximately 20,000 households, reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 31,000 tons per year.

All electricity generated will be sold to Shikoku Electric Power Company, Incorporated.

In Tokushima Prefecture, which is promoting its “Promotion Strategy for Renewable Energy Prefecture Tokushima,” Eurus Energy Group intends to fulfill our corporate philosophy goals of "Helping to Preserve the Global Environment by Disseminating and Expanding Clean Energy Technologies” and also developing with the local community to supply environmentally friendly energy.
