We got our start in wind power with a 5MW project we began operating in California's Mojave Desert in September 1987.
With the experience and confidence we gained through this relatively small project, we went on to build and operate
two additional large-scale projects in the same area, an 85MW project that came on line in 1989 and a 75MW
project that came on line in 1990.
Since then, we have pushed forward with new projects not only in the United States but also in the UK, Italy,
Spain, and Korea, which are actively promoting wind power generation as an environmentally friendly energy source.
And we entered the photovoltaic power generation business in Korea in 2008.
