Domestic Projects

In Japan, Eurus Energy Japan Corporation performs comprehensive management of wind power generation. The company establishes separate entities to provide direct operation and management services for each project. Shitsukari, Kamaishi, Nishime and Odanosawa projects are granted subsidies of ¥0.5/kwh for 3 years (Green Energy Funds) by the Industry Vitalization Center for Tohoku. Kihoku project is granted subsidy of ¥10/kwh for 3 years by Kyuushuu Industrial Advancement Center. Enbetsu project is granted subsidy by Hokkaido Area Management and Support Foundation. As part of its effort to help Japan achieve its goal of generating 3,000 MW of wind-generated electric power by 2010, Eurus Energy Japan carries out development studies including wind analysis performed with anemometers which have been installed in more than 100 locations from Hokkaido in the north, to Okinawa in the south.
